The Sopris Pro Avalanche Airbag Backpack is a technical backcountry pack equipped with an Alpride E2 electronic avalanche airbag system. Built for the most serious backcountry users, the Sopris Pro delivers best in class fit and function in a durable, lightweight package. The included Alpride E2 electronic airbag system is smaller, lighter, and easier to charge than the previous E1 version, all while being travel ready. The 3.5mm frame and EVA backpanel and harness provide a stable fit in the most demanding backcountry terrain. Made sustainably with recycled materials and PFC/PFAS-free DWR.

The all-new Alpride E2 system is the next generation of electric avalanche airbags. It takes the successful features of the E1 system and puts them in a smaller, lighter, and more user-friendly package. The E2 system adds a AA battery compartment to either charge the system or hold a charge for 3 months. The E2 also charges faster with its updated USB-C port, so you can easily test deploy. The E2 also keeps some of the E1’s best features, like the LCD display to easily show the charge of the Super Capacitors and the batteries in the system, as well as the auto-test LEDs for constant monitoring of the system. The E2 also keeps the automatic pressure relief valve and adjustable activation handle to accommodate varying torso heights.
